It was very helpful in learning about my camera, which was possible because of the small group size. It would have been good to have more "hands on" in taking pictures as part of the lesson, to reinforce what was learned. After the lesson Constantinos took us to take pictures of the creek, but it wasn't incorporated into the actual lesson itself and the environment was too noisy/busy. Since this was more of a didactic experience, I would suggest holding it indoors. I really liked Constantinos as a teacher and will take some more lessons with him.

This class was not only instructional, but fun. Our instructor presented the objective of the class, provided explicit examples and instructions. He then broke us up into partners to practice and discuss our progress with each other and then with the group. He moved among the groups to provide formative assessment and modeling.

This course was more a course on how to frame a photo as opposed to 201clandscape 201d photography - the instructor had a very good handle of the material - it might have been helpful to get the hand out material in an email prior to the class to have a better handle on what was going to be covered - that being said the extreme cold made it difficult to stand still for any instruction time, so with more comfortable temperatures this would not have been an issue. All in all it was a good event - I'd go to more events
