It was very helpful in learning about my camera, which was possible because of the small group size. It would have been good to have more "hands on" in taking pictures as part of the lesson, to reinforce what was learned. After the lesson Constantinos took us to take pictures of the creek, but it wasn't incorporated into the actual lesson itself and the environment was too noisy/busy. Since this was more of a didactic experience, I would suggest holding it indoors. I really liked Constantinos as a teacher and will take some more lessons with him.

This class was not only instructional, but fun. Our instructor presented the objective of the class, provided explicit examples and instructions. He then broke us up into partners to practice and discuss our progress with each other and then with the group. He moved among the groups to provide formative assessment and modeling.

Taken with Nikon D7500 with 300mm Nikkor lens. Two male Kingfishers possibly adult male and offspring sitting low by the River Crane. Light was low so had to use a high ISO. Because of this the image had to be denoised . It was then cropped and clarity and texture added in Lightroom. I have a nice triptych of them sitting in three different poses.
