This class has encouraged me to work with my camera and develop the skills needed for landscape photography. I will consider taking another class probably in basic skills where I am still lacking knowledge.

Available most Saturdays morning. For any other day pr time we can talk about my availability and maybe something can be arranged.
I can do private tutoring about any subject around photography or even video production, and photography editing of any kind.

Title or Location: Letchworth State Park upper falls.
A few of my fellow photography club members and myself decided to spend the day at the park taking photographs around the park. We came to the overlook of the upper falls and the train trestle and the scene unfolded before me. So I tried to frame the shot as best as I could and captured the image.

While trying to shoot long exposures of the upper falls a blue heron landed along the gorge and fished. He gradually made his way up to the falls. I waited for him to pose at the point. He did catch 2 fish that day there.

Well I was out with another member of the Southtowns Photography Club just getting out to take some pictures. We were on our way out and I looked over this wood fence and looked up. I thought that is rather unusual. Then I took the shot.

Title: Passages. There it was in front of me with the bright afternoon light streaming in the shadow, the stairways. All that was missing was a Cartier-Bresson "defining moment". So, I waited... and the moment stepped into the frame. Taken with a Samsung Galaxy S23 mobile phone camera and edited with Snapseed.

Title or Location: "Tractor" taken on Pearson Road Middleport, NY
The photo was taken after the first snowfall on Monday, November 10th. I was looking for subject to take for a challenge in a photography group I belong. The challenge was to emulate the work of Daniel Dencescu, a wildlife and minimalist photographer. I saw the tractor sitting in the white field with the distant trees obscured falling snow and thought this would make a great minimalist shot.

I was soaking in the sun on a beautiful day with my camera and zoom lens when i spotted the dragon fly on the antenna of a car parked car close to my apartment. The vivid colors and the beauty of the moment was no lost on me and i immediately zoomed in with my Tamron 70-300mm lens. I was glad the dragonfly was in no hurry to fly away. This picture was taken by a large window, three pencils (RGB coloured) were laid on white card which was curved up in the distance, but the curve cannot be discerned due to the very shallow depth of field and even light, giving the impression of infinity into the distance ...
